▶1.COLD WELDING

Everyone knows about welding at high temperatures but do you know about Cold Welding. This phenomenon occurs in space when two pieces of unprotected metals of the same type touch each other in space they permanently fused together and become a single piece. But now the question is why?

This is because there is no oxygen, water vapor, and any other particles in space. But on earth, there is a thin oxidized layer formed around every metal object while in space the metals have no idea that they are different pieces. So in space, most metals have coated with plastic or with some other elements.

Moon orbit period - 27.3 days

1. Tidal movements on Oceans are because of the moon. Moon gravity towards Earth pushes and pulls the ocean water resulting in tides.
2. Every year Moon is moving approximately 3 centimeters away from earth. According to this 85  million years before Moon is just 35 feet distance away from Earth but now it is 384,800 kilometers away from Earth.
3. On Moon, the gravity is very weak. A person who weighs 100 Kilograms on Earth is just 16.5 Kilograms on Moon. That is on the moon everyone weighs ⅙ of their weight on Earth.
4. If you ask someone who is the first person to step on the moon they quickly say Neil Armstrong in 1969 on Apollo 11 Mission. But when you ask who is the second person to step on Moon, they stay silent, his name is Buzz Aldrin. The last person who stepped on Moon is Gene Cernan on Apollo 17 mission.
5. In total 12 people stepped on Moon.
6. Just like Earth, Moon also have Moon quakes, It is because of the Earth's gravitational pull towards Moon.
7. Only 5 country flags are present on Moon they are United States, Soviet Union, Japan, China, and India. In which only the United States flag is hoisted there by hand and all other flags are reached by spacecraft.

Venus orbit period - 225 days

1. In Venus, one year is more than one day which means it takes more time to one rotation than one revolution. When you observe above Venus orbit period is 225 days that is it takes 225 Earth days to revolve around the sun while it takes 243 Earth days to rotate on its own axis.
2. Venus has no Moons nor any Rings.
3. The atmospheric pressure on Venus is 92 times more than the atmospheric pressure on Earth.

▶4.INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS)

International Space Station is a big spacecraft which is moving in an orbit around the Earth, these are some mind blowing International Space Station facts for you.

1. Only 240 people from 19 countries visited and lived in the International Space Station.
2. Astronauts in the International Space Station experience Sunrise and Sunset 17 times a day, such a beautiful view to imagine.

To live in space, space suits are a must and should, they help in providing oxygen and balancing pressure, these are some amazing space suit facts for you.

1. Spacesuits protect astronauts from temperatures as low as -250 degrees Fahrenheit to +250 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. The simple looking space suit worn by astronauts has a very complex construction inside. They amazingly cost 81 crores a single suit.
3. The spacesuits worn by astronauts on International Space Station are called EXTRA VEHICULAR MOBILITY UNITS (EMU).

1. To understand Sun size, let us imagine Sun is in the Size of the white blood cell of our body then the Milky Way galaxy is in the size of the USA.
2. The Hydrogen present in the Sun is 70% and Helium is 28%.
3. If Sun is a hollow circular body then one million Earths could fit inside it.
4. In the future Sun will eat our Earth, yes you read it right if the Sun burns that 70% Hydrogen completely, then it starts burning the remaining 28% Helium for other 130 million years. At this time it will expand and swallow Mercury, Venus, and our Earth also becoming a Giant planet.
5. In the future Sun will become the size of our Earth, yes you again read it right, after becoming a Giant planet the Sun will start downfall but keeps its mass nearly equal to the volume of our planet Earth.

Scientists believed that the whole Universe is just our Milky way galaxy until 1923. But it was proved wrong when the Astronomer named Edwin Hubble discovered a blurry area in the night sky, which is whole another Galaxy called Andromeda. The Universe size was amazingly doubled in an overnight.

Saturn planet density is less than the water density. The density of water is 1000 kg/cubic meters while Saturn density is just 687 kg/cubic meters. This means if we dip Saturn in an ocean bigger than itself, it will float.
